Ancient Aliens and COVID-19

The creation of the ancient astronaut theory and ideology that extraterrestrial beings from another planet had visited earth long ago and influenced events which effect humans today was something I found interesting since the release of ,”Chariots of the Gods” by author Erich Von Daniken was released in 1971. Later, throughout the next decades many books, television shows, movies and even various Governments around the world began to share stories of such. The idea became more mainstream in the 90’s and finally television shows such as Ancient Aliens began discussing the various theories and possible evidence of what Von Daniken conveyed to the world, quickly becoming one of the most watched television series about extraterrestrial beings in the world. Their are lots of amazing stories discussed on Ancient Aliens that leave anyone who watches it analyzing the possibility of that extraterrestrial beings did perhaps visit Earth long ago and influence mankind which put them on the track they are on now. One main theory which triggered a thought though was an episode about how extraterrestrials manipulated the genetics of our ancestors to help create more intelligent beings, influencing the evolutionary path of mankind overall. This idea was not alone created within just one show but multiple programs about extraterrestrial beings altering and changing the D.N.A and genetic coding within mankind and it mentioned by a historian/author named Zecharia Sitchin, whom was an author of books proposing an explanation for the origins of humans again using the ancient astronauts as the base theory. He attributed the creation of the ancient Sumerian culture to the Anunnaki and claimed that a race of extraterrestrials from a planet called Nibiru, had influenced mankind by a variety of different means including again genetic manipulation. So, one may ask themselves how does this coincide with COVID-19 at all?

Late this year a discovery was made that COVID-19 actually severely affects people that have traces of Neanderthal D.N.A. The results from a genetic analysis reveals that some people who have severe reactions to the SARS-CoV-2 virus inherited certain sections of their DNA from Neanderthals. And though this is not to blame for the severity of this virus it does raise the question is this disease a creation of extraterrestrials who again are trying to influence the evolution of mankind by eliminating certain DNA that is no longer needed in our technological society. Of course this is just a hypothesis and with plenty of time within this lockdown many ideas, mostly considered something straight out of a science fiction movie flow constantly. I feel it is better then writing about the reality of the United States political system and the theories that come from that avenue of thought, such as the Coronavirus was created to alter the election in favor of one party over another or that China created the virus to stop protest in Hong Kong and finally seize control of it. Perhaps like past plagues that detrimentally affected civilizations directing them to a new course going forward, COVID-19 again is possibility providing another direction that is better suited for mankind such as forcing the world to work together creating a cure for this disease or by having the world utilize existing technologies for better communication from all nations even one’s that did not use the internet prior to this pandemic. Whatever the reasons for this virus/disease whether it is just something that occurred naturally or something otherworldly it is giving the world the opportunity to self reflect in the decisions everyone makes and hopefully this time brings forth a better approach to human rights and sharing ideas between nations.
